Backing Bearing
Backing bearing is specially designed for multi-roller cool rolling mill bearing（also called Sendzimir mill）. They are mainly applied on high-accuracy rolling. It can also applied for other use, such as roller straighteners or bending machines. Backing bearing is the bearing with very thick wall. It can be installed on static support axis to form support roll or leveler roll. The force from working roll is transmitted to roller or housing through support roller or support housing. Backing bearing can bear comparatively high radial load according to different design form. At the same time it can also bear radial load transmitted to housing through adjacent mechanism.
Processing Accuracy: revolving accuracy should not lower than P4, size accuracy should not be lower than P5.
It is divided into 3-6 tolerance groups the difference is respectively 3—5.µm.
It can be applied on comparatively high rolling speed which could be up to 1000m/min.
There are three commonly seen structure type.
Structure in picture 1
The outer ring is without ring rib. The first and second ring is led by double-paw cage, the third roller is led by single-row solid cage. The roller is led by moving rib on the inner ring in the axial direction. This type of bearing is applied for emulsion.
Structure in picture 2
It is double-row. There are three ribs. The roller is led by double-paw brass cage. This type of bearing is applied for any lubrication method. Bearing with seal or without seal can be selected according to requirement.
Structure in picture 3
Double-row full complement with medium rib on inner ring and outer ring. This type of bearing has no seal and is applied for emulsion.
